Thread: Olympic White Strat

    Olympic White Strat

    Hey guys,
    finished this awhile ago.

    Body: Ash strat
Neck: Used an old neck lying around
    Inlays: Upgraded to abalone dots
Wood stain: White acrylic paint - we diluted it slightly with water (they only cost $2.50!, but results were amazing!)

Here's how it looked like after sanding the body down and staining it with many coats of the white paint.

And... it looked really gorgeous after wet sanding with 1200, 1500 and 2000 grit
and buffing it up with MeGuiar's 105 and 205.

Just look at the reflection of the tree outside our balcony!

It's so shiny. Looks factory made. Got any pics of the neck in less light? Looks like a nice figure. Great work

Nice one. Good amount of grain showing through from body and like the abalone markers. Great finish
