    The Green Manalishi - STA1

Started an STA1 this week and after the obligitory headstock shaping ( still to be cleaned up) and a bit of colour on the body the "Green Manalishi" is born.
Have ordered a black upgrade kit to compliment the colour.
At this stage looking to keep fairly standard but I do have some SD Single coils floating around somewhere in the garage and may upgrade if i can find them.

@wokka No didnt stain black. Made up a green colourtone mix to get it as close to a forest green as I could and gave it a good 3 continuous coats of green. Added a bit of black to the mix and did a darker burst around the edges over the top. When it dried i gave it a really good steel wooling and blended the burst ( can hardly see it now at all) then made up another green mix and probably coated another 4-5 times until it didnt seem to take any more colour. Using Isophropinal alcohol as the base and seems to get more colour in. Also was a nice piece of Ash.

Finally unpacked some pitbull parcels and got the black upgrade for the ST.
Starting to get a good shine on the body.
