Ha yeah "pawn shop" alright. It doesn't really scream metal to look at but I'm hoping it will sound it.
I kinda wish it was a 7 string now

    Anyway...phase 1 complete.

cool headstock. This is a really great looking kit - give it the BL magic and it should come up a treat. Looking forward to seeing this progress

Bargey - that body looks flippin fantastic man! Great job. I'm really digging the shape - definitely something to try down the road. It kinda reminds me of a Vintage Epiphone Wilshire. I think you might be setting a trend with this one dude..

    cheers,
    Gav.

Yeah I haven't really seen anything quite like this one Gav, I mean there's double cutaways around but not with this exact hardware configuration. I'm really interested to see how this one turns out.

I rather like the aquiline headstock shape and I really love the body shape.
Great to see the job rockin' along. It should look more fearsome when the B & W are done.

@Max and Fretty, hey thanks guys!

Anyway we've had stuff number one already in the form of my freshly delivered Grover tuners. Some dickhead (namely me) didn't read the bit at the end of the listing that said 3X3 and therefore I'm stuck with tuners that ain't gonna work with this project. As I've already blown the budget with extras I guess I'll be using the standard chrome ones. I could always swap the Grovers I guess but they're too nice and I don't want to give them back lol.
I've plugged the back cavity and have decided on another angled chop on the tail end of the body (marked in pencil). Just waiting on new blades for the jigsaw.
