Sanding continues. Quick question for those who have played with Ash before - I'm guessing I'm not going to get a perfectly flat surface like I would with basswood. Having sanded to 240 grit and fluffed up the surface with water - how much further should I go - to flatten out the grain?

Timbermate Brendan , its really the only the way to take most of the grain out. China Ash is very how do you say impossible to flatten off completely.
