Fair enough fellas. Heard the 2 seater F1 rides from where I'm staying, sounds amazing, these would be the V8 cars of last year, can't wait to hear the new turbo V6 engines from Friday.
Thought there would be more petrolhead forumites !!

I'm a petrolhead Wokka! But not lucky enough to be going to the Oz Grand Prix like you! I've got a soft spot for Daniel Ricciardo being a Perth boy - hope he does well. Anyway, enjoy the action you lucky bugger
Good to hear Matt, yes I will be cheering for Ricciardo for sure. Hopefully he can pull of a podium in Oz !

I went to the last two F1 grand prix that were held in Adelaide all those years ago.
Was a fantastic experience...never forget the sound of those cars, just incredible.

cheers Andy, I just returned home from Melbourne and am pretty disappointed like many other fans at the lack of noise of the new V6 F1 engines. When the support categories V8 supercars and Carrera cup cars are louder than the main event there's something wrong there. Fingers crossed Ricciardo gets awarded 2nd place after an appeal over fuel issues.
I would have loved to see the cars in Adelaide Andy, presume they were loud V6 turbos then !
