Thread: 1/8" hole for bridge wire

    Adam,
    Any chance of getting the hole for the bridge wire widened out to 1/8"? That way if people want to use shielded wire between the cavity and the bridge, they don't need to redrill the hole. It is one of the more fiddly ones to redrill and one you don't want to get wrong and end up with a 3 odd mm hole in the back of your beautiful guitar... 1/8" turns out to be 3.175 mm, shielded wire (Jaycar and guitarparts.co.nz) is pretty much bang on 3mm.

    Alternatively - DB does the wire need to be shielded? :?

    I would suspect that it doesn't need to be shielded as it is itself the ground and therefore cannot supply noise to the hot side of the circuit.
