Thread: LP-1 Wiring

  1. #1
Have completed the painting on my LP-1...now time for shielding and wiring.

As a newbie, I know very little, alright nothing, about the wiring layout for a Les Paul.
Noticed that the wiring layout Adam has provided on the site seems to differ from other layouts I have looked up on the web.
In fact there seems to be numerous variations...why so many?

Do most of you guys that have built LP-1's use the Pitbull method??
Not that I would probably notice much difference between them all.
I am swapping the supplied caps for Sprague Orange Drops, if that makes any difference to the wiring layout?

    Thanks for any advice.
    Andy

Orange drops don't make any difference to the wiring layout. Pick a layout you feel comfortable with and go with that. I don't want to confuse you but you will find many alternative wiring for LP's and the like from blend pots to multiple push-pull pot options being used.
