    Hi all forum members,
lastnight my partner gave me a suggestion to build guitars for under privileged kids as she has done some volunteer work and myself and Wayne of 4D Guitars have decided to build some ST-1 kits and donate them to these kids
We haven't looked into any details where to send them to but we are going to start building them soon.

Adam kindly suggested that PitBull Guitars maybe able to sponsor us. Thanks Adam

Anyway I'll be posting the updates of these guitars on the build diary and hope we can get a photo of us giving the kids the guitars - lets hope it brightens their lives.

If any other forum members want to give any suggestions or any Perth members want to help we are open to ideas.

Will update you when we find out more

    cheers Wokka

That is a lovely idea! Absolutely no harm can come of this!

You could even show them how to build their own into the bargain!

Not sure what I can do - one of the more inexperienced Perthites, but happy to help out if I can.

    Hi all,
update on the 2 charity axes, got a coat of surfer girl on #2 strat and 3rd coat of BMW on the other, big thanks to Dingobass did a nice job of fret levelling the 2 necks today, the plan is to auction the guitars on ebay and donate to Make a Wish foundation, and then possibly donate to another charity. More to follow when we do more research.
Stay tuned for the next coats
    Cheers 4D

    Hi all,
the 1st guitar was put on ebay lastnight for auctioning, if you haven't seen the link on the Pit Bull Facebook page, can you please share the link and make as many people aware of it - the more people that know about it the better chance we will get a higher bid and get the Pit Bull name out to more people

    the ebay link : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Original-...-/171055494068

Good work!! Keep the eBay links coming and let me know if there is anything else I can do?

Would it help to get other Forum members to build some? I'm up for it, if the logistics can be made to work.

    Hi Ray,
thanks for the offer of help.
Feel free to post the link from the Pitbull Facebook page onto your Facebook page and ask your friends to share the link.
Sure up to you if you want to build a kit and auction it, may pay to wait to see how much interest we get with the auction, may take a few days to get the first bid being a 10 day auction.

We paid for the 2 ST kits out of our own pockets, but Adam and Dingobass have been a massive help

Just trying to get the word out to as many people as possible so we may get a higher bid

which state are you in again Ray ?
