I've been very keen to see one of these show up. This one was the only kit I wasn't too sure how it would end up looking. I am impressed. The s series are my favourite ibanez guitar (I love ibanez basses, their guitars not so much).

Damn it. Now I want one of these too.

Is emerald isles usually this pale? It's the colour wudtone I want to eventually use, but I'm after a much more vibrant green. Similar to this

I think the camera and lighting combined make it look very light blue....have a look at my SG from this months GOTM.....that was also Emerald Isles.

Wot Gavin said and also I was a bit Jewish with the deep colour coat!

Sand to 240, do two or three deep colour coats without steel wooling between and you will get a real Irish green 8-)

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
