Question: Have you ever bought or made a guitar that when you first play it with the volume at 10, its sounds awesome, but when you turn the volume down a bit, all of that tone bleeds off??? Well, StewMac recently uploaded a video showing a neat little circuit that keeps that tone even if the guitar's volume is at 1!!!! The components are extremely cheap, and can be taken off the guitar if it's not needed!

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Certainly a lot neater than having multiple variations of caps with alligator clips :P

This article is great for people who don't want to buy every type of cap, to then find out they don't really like it!
I know a guy who used a system like that, with orange drops, ceramic, and PiO caps with different values to get a new tone every time he played, he even used it to switch between different values and wiring setups for the Treble Bleed circuits, it involved a ton of wiring and caps, but it makes his Axe sound so unique!
