    First build - FS-1 (maple)

    Howdy!

Starting my build diary as suggested. Have previously attempted a les Paul kit but I was not prepared/adequately motivated/patient enough, and, my dog chewed the headstock (lol) so I gave up.

I’m now ready for round 2! Wish me luck. Have so far:

    - drilled the bridge and tailpiece holes
    - shaped the headstock
    - purchased all the sandpaper I could ever need
    - removed glue stains as best I could with goof off
    - commenced sanding to 240

Intend to use stain and go natural on the face, stump black on the back, sides and neck.

    Hi and welcome Topsykretts,

Good luck for round 2. Maybe keep the dog away!

No really, But the pictures are not to be too large otherwise they will not load. Maybe try smaller images.

I know this problem occurs a lot. There is an old thread about this here:
    https://www.buildyourownguitar.com.a...ead.php?t=2616.

If it does not help please ask again.

Download the tap talk app and log into the forum. Uploading from your phone is easy as the app resizes them for you.

Not being any kind of a techy dude, my daughter takes the photos and sends them to me by e-mail. I save them to the computer and upload using the "Inset Image" tab. Primitive maybe, but effective.
