The harness accompanying the kit is not like the one shown in kit pics and there is no wiring diagram for this guitar number. There are two diagrams showing 2 hum buckets, one vol, one tone, 3 way switch but none come close to what’s in the kit and I am just too new to figure this out on my own. The switch doesn’t even have a part number to look up to see what taps are what, there are 8 circuit board connections. I sort of assume the switch works like this: switch forward, neck pickup, rearward, bridge pickup, center, both(?) or is that a cut off? I would rather it be a blend. Some expert has to know the answer. Thanks guys.

    Hi Johnnyba
For resizing pics, if you're on a PC , right click on the image, select edit and there is an option in Paint for resizing, the longest side can only be 1500 pixels. Or Sonic has this thread on how to host images remotely

Going by the IB-1 part of your kit description, am assuming it is HSH 1 vol 1 tone, with a lever switch and barrel jack. If so this wiring diagram should help.

Once we can see what you have, then more advice can be offered. Hopefully those links worked.

    Added pics of DIB-1F

Thanks for the response but I ended up finding an 8 contact 3 way switch setup up like my kit. From what I gather it’s a typical strat setup. I am so new at this I hadn’t a clue. It’s done and I will try to post some pics. Crossing fingers….

Good work. However I'll just point out that your neck pickup ring is back-to-front. The slope on the ring typically goes from high to low in the direction on the neck. (just like your bridge pickup).

Not a big deal, just thought it worth mentioning.

Thanks on that, wondered why the cant and saw no mention. Have more tuners coming and will change then.
