Thread: 2 tone sunburst on a TL-A kit? How do you do this at home?

  1. #11
I practiced, practiced and practiced some more trying to get a sunbust with stain and it just wasn't happening. Bought a set of Nitro Rattle cans, expensive but worth it I think, took a deep breath and sprayed. I turned out good enough for me. defiantly easier than stain, for me anyway.

If you stain and fail, you can always sand back and start again or go the paint option. Failing isn’t the end of the world.

I have seen some crazy prices for guitar paint compared to regular paint.

Any advice would be appreciated and thanks again for all the amazing advice and support I have received thus far.
I take my hat off to you.

    Cheers

It is more expensive than standard cans, but worth it for the finish I think.
