Got it. I am keeping life simple and going with a pair of tonerider ac2 pickups (neck and bridge). Now I just need the kit and a few parts to arrive so I can get started.

Kronig Music definitely can supply Pure Tone jacks and spares in Australia. You can see them here https://kronigmusic.com.au/brand/pur...-technologies/.
P.S. We have been moving our hosting and bringing products online gradually - that is why the Pure Tone jacks went missing. Apologies.
And we are in business. Picked up my kit today from the Pitbull warehouse who are flat out shipping orders. Thanks Ben for taking the time to let me inspect the kit and make sure there was a good neck fit.

I’ve used a neck Tonerider AC2 in a build before. Nice pickup.

Day 1 - home made straight made, smoothed fret ends, levelled frets, crowned and polished with micro mesh. Polish tomorrow with dremel then onto sanding and electronics mock-up

I presume that "deemed" was supposed to be dremel .Polish tomorrow with deemed then onto sanding and electronics mock-up
FWIW, use the dremel on the lowest speed you can that still effectively polishes. You don't want the frets heating up.
I can't remember what speed I have used, as I stopped using mine quite a while ago and do it all by hand now. However I have made a DIY fret polishing tool from a hand-held-grout removal tool. It saves my fingers from receiving all the pressure.
Making the world a better place; one guitar at a time...
Day 2 - mock build. Question to those in the know. When assessing the action height at 22nd fret it seems pretty high compared to my normal prs. Will this sort itself out when setting the neck as the bridge is set as low it will and adjusting the nut won’t make much difference. I understand it is a big no no to mess with the foot of the neck.

Sorry, I am not familiar with this kit. But what is the neck relief like? If it is quite concave then it may not be a problem.
I'm not sure if a set neck can be shimmed - but maybe a wooden shim at the base of the neck footing!
Hopefully some better assistance will arrive soon.
