Managed to test fit the P90 at last.
    Some very inelegant sanding/rasping/chiselling
I don't have a router at the moment and I got impatient... it's only a mm, half a mm each side right...?
Still taking this as a tiny victory ;-)

    Looks good from my house!

That’s a bonus to large pickguards like on strats and telescope. They can hide a multitude of sins if necessary!

    Edited bloody predictive text!
“strats and teles” NOT “strats and telescopes”! 😊

    New scratch-plate, fretboard radius question!

    Hi 2022...!
Not finding too many free moments this January, but got the body sanded to 220 and a new scratch-plate (cream three ply)

Lots of things planned but a QUESTION about fretboard radius - what is it for the JRM-1DC? I can't find the original notes...
    Any help much appreciated ;-)

As far as I'm aware, all Pitbull kits have 12" radius necks/boards.

Yes, 12”. I’ve measured all my Pit Bull necks with radius gauges and (as was once stated for all the kits in the descriptions) they are all 12”.

And a perfectly fine question to ask.

If you were building an ST or TL and expected a typical 9.5" Fender radius, if it wasn't mentioned in the kit description you'd be rather surprised if you then checked and found it was 12".

    Onwards...

First coat of stain, looks less red than I was expecting, but applied under less than ideal conditions (ie - by lamplight) so see how it looks after drying.
It's revealed some areas where I've perhaps missed sanding all the way down, but I couldn't be happier and more excited so far :-)
