Looks like I'll be making some flame tops. Four or five of them.
Went to the Fine Timber Company open weekend thing, and picked up this 2080x380x20 piece of tiger maple, as well as enough alder for a couple of projects, plus some hard maple and jarrah for future neck things.

I think I've figured out that just too damn lazy, so the chances of a scratchy from me are severely diminishing...
My next build is going to be with a pre-finished body. That probably speaks volumes as to the level of commitment I can muster at the moment...

Is it thick enough to split for bookmatching?
Probably. But it's wide enough to not have to.
