I soldered my guitar and put strings on it but when I plug it in it doesn’t make any noise. There isn’t even any hum. Is there anything else that could be causing it to not make any noise?

Probably going to need to see some pics of the wiring as it could be any number of things.
First things first though, is the lead you are using a good known working one?
Are all your knobs turned all the way up?
Check the simple things first.
Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

I would guess on the wiring being wrong and your signal being sent to ground or an air gap in your signal path?
The issue may be with connection to the output jack?
Double check the wiring path and look for frosted solder joints as well.
The traditional way of troubleshooting these issues is to start in the middle and split the problem in half.
Does the the first half work, yes then the problem is in the second half.
Then split it again and repeat.
I hope this helps?

No sound at all indicates a signal short to ground. An open circuit is normally quite noisy, but silence indicates the signal connection is grounded.
As has been said, the kit reference and some photos will help us a lot.
Otherwise just go over the soldering, check it against the diagram and make sure that there aren't any stray strands of wire form a solder joint touching any other connection or potentiometer metalwork. It only takes one thin bit of wire to touch ground and you get nothing.
If you've shielded the cavities, a signal short to the shield is often the cause of silence, especially if you've shielded the output jack area.
I had this happen on one of my builds and as Simon has suggested, it turned out to be a short. Wasn't easy to pick up just by looking at it (old eyes) - I found it with a continuity tester.
