    Hi there

Hello from Worcestershire UK. My first Guitar build.. Bit of a retirement project.. I have built things like synthesisers in the past so this is very new for me.

    Hi, Dave, and welcome.

I suggest you start a build diary and ask as many questions as you want. After synths, the wiring should hold no surprises for you, so it’s almost all about the finish.

What synths have you made, BTW? I helped a friend make a Transcendent 2000 in the late 1970s, and I now have one of them myself, but in pieces waiting to be rebuilt with new J-wire switches for the keyboard, as the original ones were very temperamental. Also some op amp replacement to reduce noise. It's been in pieces a while as I keep saying I'll finish the kit guitars first, but I never do!
