Ok, I’ve decided to cheat a little bit. Two reasons.
1) I think 3 months is going to pass by faster than expected.
2) I’ve got some nice Indian Rosewood headstock laminate I’ve been saving for something special.

Ok, top wood is sorted.
I’m having trouble sourcing timber for neck, back and sides.
Stewmac doesn’t tell you the products are unavailable until you click into the product…a bit disappointing considering I paid the 12 months membership to save money on shipping.
The local timber supplier in Naval Base can’t help me out.
I can’t find the dimensions I need for slabs on eBay.
I’ve spent some time searching around the internet without much joy.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I should look?
Minimum slab dimensions are two 540x220x25mm, ideally book matched.
Laminating a neck gives me more flexibility with dimensions. What’s going on? Demand greater than supply?

In oz try Tasmanian tone woods who may be able to cut something.

Ormsby guitars are about to open a parts and timber store shortly online ( they’re in Perth) maybe email them from their website and they may be able to assist.
