    my entire skill there is in two songs only. highway to hell and you shook me all night long. both cracker songs that i love playing along to . simple solos in position 1 minor pentatonic!

    but that is it. im more enamored with Pink Floyd. slow and steady is for me....

    I meant to ask yesterday. Are you aware or the TruOil shine trick.
    Once you get a nice smooth shiny TO finish, do two coats of 50/50 mix of TO and Turps.

    oh no. just saw this. no i dont now about such. but it is too late as i have now attached it with Maguires polish ....doh!

    I would stick with the Maquires now that it is on. I am sure it would as good or better shine.
    I remember seeing something on YouTube about getting polish of with metho or turps. I can’t remember which.
    I think it would run the risk of being patchy if all the polish was not off.
    Good reason why you need to build another guitar so you can give it a try.
