Hi action on ES-!F - Solution

After using the ES-1F for a while I realized the action was too high and was unable to adjust the neck etc. to get it low enough.
I eventually found this Goldo Lowrider bridge. I needed adapters shown for the smaller bridge pins.
Fitted it yesterday and got action down to the Gibson ES specs.

No, it's just a low profile Tune-o-Matic style bridge. It's got the smaller US post holes, so you need additional adapter posts for fitting it in the 8mm inserts that come with the PBG kits and most Asian-made guitars such as Epiphones etc.

Simon, you are the encyclopedia of guitar builds. What do you suggest for the post adaptors?

Clarification, please. Does the Goldo Lowrider include both bridge tail piece and saddle of the Tune-o-matic? I only see the saddles in the posted photos, and if I replace only the saddles, the strings will be riding too high. I need to lower both saddles and bridge. Thanks.

Goldo do their own, but they are quite common, you just need to know what you are looking for. E.g. Kluson make some https://www.kluson.com/kluson-usa-me...s-details.html

The Goldo kit comes with US Gibson-sized posts and adjustment wheel, so you you just re-use the existing wheels with the new posts.
