Full disclosure, I am from Walla Walla, WA. A different place than Walla Walla NSW, although settled about the same time. although I now live 3000 miles away at the opposite end of the USA. When I did live in Walla Walla Martin Archery was the largest manufacturer of archery supplies and equipment in the world. Quite the claim to fame for a town in the middle of nowhere.
In "retirement" Terry Martin, the son of the founder, took expertise with wood, and a lot of equipment from the archery business and applied it to guitar making, founding Walla Walla guitars.
