Hello from South Africa. 1st Guitar builder

My name is Christo and from South Africa.
Just ordered 2 bass kits from Pitbull and look forward to this build project.

Been playing Drums, guitar and bass for many years on and off and the Build bug bit when watching Crimson Guitars youtube channel.

Will ultimately like to build a bass from scratch one day but need to cut my teeth on something a bit easier 1st.

Being 1st time builder, I don't have all the tools I would like but I think I can make do with what I have.

Will try update to keep a thread updated on progress.

What basses did you get?

I ordered the 5 string IB-5 and the AGB-30.

I have started on the IB-5. Going slow. Using the limit tools that I have.

Using my initiative and the knowledge from watching Ben from Crimson building guitars.

So we'll see how it turns out.

Being 1st build, a little unsure of my self but would like it to turn out great.

Gonna start a Build Diary for this build and do have some questions.

However, being in South Africa, I don't have access to the same finish product that most people on this forum have and use,

So will be looking for advice.
