Horrible noise when I plug in. Suggestions?

So I just finished my first ever build. Really happy with the end result. Until I plugged it in. It's just a horrible loud buzzing noise. I'm new to this and only soldered 3 wires. I used my father-in-laws old soldering iron and some solder that said it was for radios. Said "electronics" on the box. Could this have anything to do with it? Here are pics of my wiring. The ground is soldered to the back of the Floyd Rose claw in the back. I filled all of the cavities with copper tape. I don't know what's going on. Any suggestions?

I think you have your ground and hot wires reversed on the jack.

Bare wire should be ground/earth. Insulated centre core should be the signal to positive lug on jack. (unless they are also reversed at the pot/switch - can't see the other end of the circuit)

You were right! I did a bit more research on YouTube, then looked at the jack on my PRS and I see I had them reversed. Just swapped them back and it sounds great! Thanks for the response. I'll leave this post in case someone else does the same thing.

I've even done that too, gotten the ground and signal-connections transposed on the output-jack.
