    How would you fix this?

This is a special at PBG.

How would you change out the locking nut...obviously for a Floyd Rose style setup?

The bridge end has a tuneomatic bridge with a Bigsby tremolo tail piece.

That is a big chunk out of the top of the fretboard to cut and replace. I suppose a rosewood or similar veneer and then a top of the fingerboard mounted style nut...like the BIG G guitars.

But as it is...tuning and intonation completion would be a nightmare.

I love the veneer and the binding though. How good would this look natural finished????

I would look at custom making a cradle for a roller nut set up or a solid brass zero fret/nut/string guide combination.

you could also do an accent piece behind a standard F style nut, like a decorative plate behind the nut?

Only 4? 3 kits, a neck, 4 scratch builds, a reimagining of an older build and various small projects for the bride and Igorinas.

    This.
