Very cool dozy. What's it weigh in at?

Did you make the neck also? I can't remember... too lazy to go back...

Current weight (minus a few strings) is ~2.6kg.

And no, I didn't make the neck. I reckon I'm 2 or 3 projects away from attempting that.

It really comes together well when assembled.

Looking at the top E string break angle, you'll almost certainly probably need some string trees, especially as the nut needs to come down which will reduce it a bit further. No point trying to set it up without them.

    Thanks Simon

Yep, I've pulled the strong trees out of the box

Calling this done. First semi-scratch build. She-oak top, paulownia bottom. Custom headstock shape and profiling on a Pitbull neck. Grover Rotomatic tuners, Tonerider AC4 bridge pickup, Artist Bullbucker neck pickup. Can't remember where the bridge came from.

I may go back and rewire the neck pickup, but not much of a concern at the moment.

More likely is that I'll replace the neck with a smaller headstock, because it feels a bit out of proportion. E.g. MM-style, 4+2.

Other than that, very happy with it. Set up was tricky as first, but turned out fine, and it plays like a beast. Looking forward to it settling in.
