I feel a semi acoustic scratch build coming on in the lab. Where does this man find the time?

The trick is to start as many projects as possible and fiddle with little bits of each in 20 minute intervals on a rotating basis.
If you do that long enough then the 20 minute brackets add up to a completed guitar/project occasionally.
Its important to keep adding projects else you'll finish everything and then be left hollow, empty and forlorn.
And don't fall asleep; the clown will eat you.

Ah so thats where i fail. I only work on one project at a time, and yes there is a lot of depression inbetween waiting for parts to dry, orders to arrive.
So how many are the perfect number to work on?

Same as the optimum number of guitars/cars/bikes etc. N+1 to the upper limit of your significant other's patience.

So maybe another 2 or 3 coming my way. Thanks for the good advice. Any advice on an easy bass to build? Never done one so its all uphill.

I did an IB-5, which you have seen, I found that quite a simple build and an aesthetically pleasing kit. To be fair though, despite the simplicity I did FrankenHack the heck out of it anyway, just 'cause why else would the 'Lab bother?

I think the JB kits are pretty low fuss builds from I've seen (Unless of course you want to make a fuss with them) but i've really not looked at the bass kits too hard. The only one i've really lusted after doing is no longer offered (ESB-4SC, full width body, single cut)
