I’ve left the neck block deliberately tall to allow for any angle I might need to factor in for the back plate, it looks pretty flat but better safe than sorry

Wow, some real alchemy there mate. This one would have old Frankie turning the screws in his neck. Well done.

I’m not sure how well those laminated timber’s are glued together, FrankenWashie. Might need investigating.

Are you referring to the mahogany skinned ply back, or my solid book match underneath it?
There are currently five Clamps on the slab, I reckon it’ll be okayish.

The glue used to hold body side to back overcame the bond between the first ply layer and the mid layer. It peeled in a couple of places, but most worryingly at the rear block. I have done some work to clean it up and even out the edge but, it may not prove successful as it means the edge is a mm or so thinner than it was. We shall see.

Just having a joke. Referring to the kit, there aren’t many more things you can take apart.

Well, now that you mention it, the fretboard still has to come off for rework and binding.😜

Hey Frankie, I'm pretty much speechless. The antics that you and Igor get up to are truly inspirational.
