The maple fretboard that comes with the tl1 kit. Is it finished in any way...what oil would be best? I prefer natural look and no poly on it. If it has oil already on it from the factory What was applied?

It should be raw, no oil, no finish. Generally, whatever you use to finish the rear of the neck is what you put over the Fretboard.
I have a TLA-TH kit there I did not put any finish on the board and subsequently it is filthy and needs some attention.
