    Oh, very good, sir.
I would finish it ‘in peach’.

Note the asymmetric curve between the top half and bottom half of the body at the tailpiece section in the plan. I’ve been trying to double check this and compare it to other plans but haven’t been able to do so without spending more money.
Does anyone have any thoughts or hands on experience to contribute. The lack of symmetry bothers me.

That looks like it's probably a mistake in the drawing or placement of the curve in that diagram. The measurements given in the diagram are the same either side.

I was thinking the same thing and I should just redraw the design. Not inspiring a lot of confidence in the book from the get go.

It may not be a mistake as the drawings are labelled "the rounded half" and "the cut away half"! That sounds like it is intentional. I'm not familiar with this style though.

It does have a cut away (cropped out of my photo) but I wouldn’t of thought that would of changed the symmetry at the tailpiece area...but who knows? Not me.

I guess it's possible that it requires a tiny amount of offset to deal with the flex, but those belly distances look slightly out with the naked eye. On one side it's just over half a grid space, and the other side it's close to the edge of the grid space. But the measurements are the same.
