    Left handed telecaster

Hi, I just got my kit for X-Mass, the pick guard screw holes for the neck pick up is drilled incorrectly. What options do I have to correct it?
Not sure how to send you a photo on this forum.

It might help to put up a photo or two so that we can see what's not right.

He will probably send you a new pickguard.
Or you could get a replacement on Ebay.

You might also think of this as an opportunity to consider whether you want the holes at all (traditionally Tele neck pickups were not mounted to the pick-guard as in the pic) and what color you want the pickguard to be.

Also you can think about whether you want a different pickup in the neck position. The neck pickup in a Tele doesn't usually get the same love and admiration that the bridge pickup gets.

A friend has a killer sounding Tele with a P90 in the neck position...
