STA-1MHT with some Tele parts too

Hi all, first time builder, long time player, just received my kit, it's an Ash body hard tail Strat, maple neck and 21 fret maple board.
The body is real nice, neck pocket is tight and the frets are pretty decent, everything else is getting upgraded, including a Babicz FCH Billy Gibbons Tele humbucker bridge, pup is a Stapleton high output with a custom wind ( more on that soon) 500k pots a 4 way Tele switch (series/parallel/North and south split) and a coil tap (for the south coil) and a reshaped pick guard.
Body will be lightly oiled with Danish oil, not sure on finish on the neck at this point.
I'll have questions soon but thats the basic layout.

Look forward to seeing your build.
That Babicz bridge looks interesting. I've not seen those before.

I have done a Strat/Tele and a Tele/Strat build in the past. About 6 months ago I modified each of them back into to a (mostly) traditional Strat and a Tele.

It sounds like you have it all planned out.

I've also just picked up a STA-1MHT for a work project. They look like a nice kit.

I’m contemplating using one of the FCH Tele bridges to mount on one of my custom builds and the saddle set in a custom angled bridge for a multi scale.

My next build will probably be based on the Billy Gibbons Tele with that Babicz bridge. Not sure where to get a fully bound Tele neck, including headstock, though. Might have to be a DIY job. But that will have to be after we move house and I've got my own dedicated guitar/music room and a decent workshop space

Best of luck with the build.

It won't be for quite some time yet (unless I win the lottery).
