Hi, I'm new here and I got my first DIY kit from this site, any help?

I got the BC-1 model kit and I noticed that the videos don't cover that model. I have the manual open and I'm using that but I'm just hoping I can get some extra help from someone who's done this model before.

There are so many models available that vary with different customisation that it would be hard to do a manual for every kit.
I assume that you have the full manual and not just the quick start guide:

There are specific wiring diagrams for each pick-up setup. This should be your one:

Other than that I would look through the forums. It is a bit tricky to find something specific but don't be scared to ask a question, no matter how simple you think it is. Try and back up your questions with photos where possible. It helps the gurus on here to answer your query.
I've just started my first build and all my questions were answered quickly.

It is a good way to record your progress by updating it regularly. Other forum members often give advice or they may spot something that you have missed.

Two things to add - welcome and take your time - rushing tends to lead to people being disappointed - finishes that are tacky, missed spots, etc.
