PS Cracked Mirror Iceman is on it's way

Absolute noob here. Just ordered the last IC-1 and it should arrive Monday-Tue. I'm beside myself with anticipation. I'm gonna give it the full works (cracked mirror finish copying PS of KI$$).
It's my first build ever and I know it's a bit ambitious but I believe I can do it and do it well. I will probably send in some pics as it progresses.
Oh BTW, where can I purchase Pickguards for the Iceman. I can't find any anywhere?

    Cheers,
    Shayne5

    Hi,

Good to see another Iceman in production. Someone on the forum did the cracked mirror finish on an Iceman so that might be worth checking out.
    This may also be helpful:

Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I have ordered the binding and purfling and found someone in the woodwork industry who can route out the body and headstock for the binding etc. I'm going to glue the neck on and reduce the heel. I'm also going to convert it to a 3 knob and relocate the jack input position to match the Cracked Mirror Ibanez Iceman.
I will probably end up making my own pickguard and truss rod cover out of the same 3mm mirror perspex. Eventually replace bridge pick up with a seymour duncan.
It's going to be epic. Will post pics to show off.

Oh No! I should have checked first.
PitBulls IC-1 is in fact a different shape to the PS10 I had in mind.
So, now I'm going to build my own body to the exact specs in order to get the right sexy shaping.
Good thing I'm creative and well connected.

The kit still isn't here yet but that's not unusual at Xmas time.
When I start the build I'll also start a new thread in the Build Diary section.
