    I've decided to call the finish done. It kinda passes the 3ft distance test, at least if you close your eyes.
    Now I need to sort out the nut and level the frets...
    Build #1, failed solid body 6 string using neck from a scrapped acoustic (45+ odd years ago as a teenager!)

    It also passes the uniqueness test. Looks almost like a high tech lap steel. i am guessing the size will make it easy to transport as well...although given the uniqueness you may need to make a case, eh?

    Nice clean sock for the pic as well. Well done ;-)

    Nice work. I love the laminated colours in the neck and the contrast with the headstock.
