That sounds pretty good. MOD are normally considered good replacements for Accutronics, though I've only had experience of Belton replacements, which also worked well.
I have no idea about the finer details of what goes into making an amp like that. Sounds like they've probably gone very cheap to start with, and then had to go a bit more expensive on the items that really count.
