New cab day - Laney 4 x 12

I could easily get both of them them in the back of my smallish hatchback along with the amp guitar and pedals etc..

That's something I definitely (and sadly) can't do in our current car with this cab. Weirdly, it would have fit in our old Jazz, which had back seats that folded all the way down and a boot which opened all the way up. It was incredible the things we could cram into that tiny car. Current car is much roomier for the humans who travel in it, but no good for moving big things!

I actually totally forgot to open it up to look at the speakers today but did play through it for an hour or so, and was very happy with the way it sounds.

Our house became the unexpected recipient of this cab today - a friend was giving it away, and because he had inherited it as a kid and played it through school he wanted it to go to a house with kids who would do the same.

I need some friends like yours ;-)

Ha ha, we are definitely very lucky.

It's one of the things I love about Canberra - great arts and music community, and everyone helps each other out. We just gave my Roland to my friends daughter, so I feel like it all just goes around and around
