There's a UK outlet for Artist guitars https://www.artistguitars.co.uk/, so I've just ordered a 4 pack of their 10s to see what they're like at £12.95 including postage. A lot cheaper per set to get the 12 pack, but I need to know if they're worth using first. Even if they turn out to be not that great for me, I get through a lot of strings in setting up my guitars, so could be very useful for that as they are the same gauges as my D'Addarios.

I really need to get some Harley Benton string sets to try as well (from Thomann) as they are even cheaper £1.33 a set - but no multi packs. Need to get a last order in from them before the end of the year when anything from Europe is likely to cost a lot lot more and also incur a customs processing charge. I know from friends that these strings don't last as long, but if you were gigging regularly and change strings every couple of gigs, then that doesn't really matter.

Wow I didn't know they expanded! That's great for a little Aussie online business that has grew into a bricks & mortar shop in Sydney, and now a physical warehouse in Daventry. Good on them!

If you're ever looking for other accessories besides strings, they have some pretty good Artist branded gear too.

I've had a look. There have been occasional reviews of their gear in the UK music press. I'd imagine the stock comes straight from the China factory/supplier rather than via Australia, which is why the prices are pretty much comparable. A lot of the more popular models, like the Tele are currently out of stock.

But as the ES-3 build puts my guitar+bass count at 30, (31 if you include the Harley Benton bass kit to be built next year) I really haven't got room for any more at the moment.

Good prices in the US as well. You'd never guess that they are an Australian company looking at their US website. The only address info on the site is for their warehouse in Fairfield Ohio.

Another surprise! I couldn't find anything on their AUS site to indicate their overseas warehouses or expansion.
Apparently they're keeping their plans of world domination very secret!

Almost no actual guitars available in the UK to buy. 99% listed as ‘sold out’, one as ‘pre order for July delivery’ and one that actually appears to be in stock. Maybe they are just setting up that side of things, or maybe they had a small consignment to start with and have sold out quicker than expected.

Sounds like you should get to work on an extension for the house!

If you need cases for any of those 31, the AG ones are good value. I've only bought their plywood cases, but I'm sure the ABS ones would be equally on par.

Bought one of their ES cases for my last build that was gifted to my Son in NZ. As good as any Epiphone case.
Their world domination also includes NZ too.

I normally get my cases from Thomann these days, though that may have to stop at the end of this year. The Thomann ABS cases look identical to Artist but are cheaper, the 'moulded' cases (hard card) a similar price and the Artist wooden rectangular cases look to be slightly cheaper.

I didn't see it at first either. I probably only found it because I was looking for it. There's a dropdown menu on the upper right that is the dead giveaway.
