Yep, they have really good specials pretty frequently, sometimes even specifically for Australian customers. I normally stock up a cart and wait for one, it can be a very big saving. Even if it's not shipping sometimes there are big discounts on the strings so it works out pretty well.
If you do an order and get on their mailing list you get notifications, there will be a Christmas one before too long.

Apparently now is not one of those times for free international. . Their international shipping seems pretty reasonable (some places charge 3 times what shipping should be from the US). Even with shipping, their prices seem lower than anything I could find on e-bay. I saw a lot of bargains for the guitar princesses, but not much love for 4 string slingers . Still cheaper than elsewhere. Would have been pretty sweet when the AU dollar had parity
No you need to be on their mailing list to see when the promotions are. They always do something for major holidays, so there will be something for Christmas fairly soon I'd guess. And yeah, even with shipping it's pretty reasonable, and they ship very quickly, the customer service is great.
EDIT: Just went and had a look and if you scroll down on the home page there is a place you can sign up for the newsletter. I normally hate that crap, but well worth it with these guys.

Good stuff. Thanks again!
"Black Friday" is just around the corner!

That would make the last Thursday this year to occur on the 33rd Nov.
Since 1941, Thanksgiving in the US is always on the 4th Thursday in Nov. It was changed to 2nd to last Thursday briefly in 1939 for business reasons, and had been the last Thursday in November before then (so could have been on the 4th or 5th Thursday depending how the start day of the month fell).

And let's not forget that ol' tradition of Cyber Monday!
