Howdy! New here, With my first build

Hey everyone.

I'm Rob from Melbourne.

Been wanting to build my own guitar for some time, a couple of weeks ago one magically turned up thanks to a drunk purchase.
Always wanted a Tele, so got an ATL-1, kept it all as per the kit, apart from the bone nut and upgraded tuners.

It didn't come out as good as I hoped, had some issues with the paint and may have messed up staining the neck on a 28deg day...
But, overall I am pretty happy with it, looking forward to getting another now, probably a bass this time, have too many guitars as it is!

Looks cool, there are people who would aim for that neck look intentionally. Great thing about the forum is being able to ask advice when boo boos happen. There is always a solution.

It's a fun hobby, looks like you're hooked.

I was thinking exactly the same as Sonic, ppl would die for a vintage effect like that, loving the blue mate ...... looks well clean . top job
