Possibly my experience, too - even though I did my spraying over the course of a warm week (ie min of 20 degrees C), even 7 days of drying after that might not have been enough. Not that I have enough experience to make an informed statement, but I felt like I was sanding something soft and gluey.

The last acrylic finish I did took about 6 weeks to properly cure. The problem is ... you have to create a problem, like put a finger print into it, to know it is still a little soft underneath.

Yikes. It's a shitty lesson learned...

The pain continues. Finished build last night. Struggled to find a x2 humbucker 1 tone 1x3way switch wiring diagram on forum - so resorted to google. Found some and had a go. Pickups seemed to be working when I did a tap test after wiring. Put guitar together. Now only get a noise when shake and then play above head. Loose wire somewhere. Seems a low output though. I'm not that good at soldering and found the really thin hot wires on the Tonerider humbuckers a nightmare. Plus I attempted to add a treble bleed to each of the volume pots. Which might actually be working - hard to tell.

Anyway - basically finished body-wise and despite the need to revisit wiring I can share the general result.
