    DSZ-1

First Pit Bull guitar build and very happy with quality. Tru-oil finish only on body, Walnut stain (also by Birchwood Casey) then Tru-oil on maple neck, boiled linseed oil on fretboard. Swapped standard white pickguard and chrome hardware for black and gold respectively. Looks a bit yellowish due to lighting but it's very much chocolate brown and light brown striped.

Looks gorgeous! I'm not usually a big fan of gold hardware, but it works so well on this build

Thank you! I agree, you almost never see gold hardware on the rack in a guitar shop for a reason (too pretentious?) but I figured for a DIY build and with the dark colours, why not?!
