    Newbie From The ACT

    Hi all!

    I have been playing guitar for roughly 20 years and have been doing sound production for about 8 years now. I have always admired the DIY attitude and have seen some incredible guitars made by people who enjoy doing it.

    So I have recently started playing around with the idea of building my own guitar and have discovered Pitbull Guitars and this forum through doing research. I haven't started yet as I am still deciding on what kit I want. I was planning on getting the MM-1Q kit as it was everything that I wanted in a guitar. The shape mostly but also the quilted maple top and of course the Floyd Rose Tremolo. But sadly it isn't on the website anymore.

    However, I am now thinking of doing a Strat type guitar that is white with black hardware, a black pickguard, dual humbucker and I still want a Floyd Rose. I know some people don't like them but I personally love them.

    You can ask them for what you want through the custom shop section and they are pretty good at getting it made, it will take longer though

    I did see that and it is something I will consider in the future. However, I have settled for the STAF-1 as I can go with the white strat idea and I already have a Lo-Pro Licensed Floyd Rose I can use and a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup set. Hopefully, it turns out as good as I think it will
