    Bridge ground wire too short

First build DJZ kit. Does anyone know wire size as I'm going to have to solder a new wire for bridge ground. The one they have soldered is at least 2 inches too short, so disappointing.

    That's a shame.

Any general electrical hook-up wire will do. You'd typically use 22 or 21 AWG single core insulated wire if buying wire from someone like Allparts or most luthier suppliers. The kit wire is a bit thinner, maybe 24 AWG. It's really carrying no current worth mentioning in normal use, so doesn't have to be thick, just strong enough to withstand the mechanical actions of pulling it through the hole in the body and being soldered. Multi-strand is better than single strand for this purpose as you want to splay out the strands of the bare end that sits beneath the bridge. Even a piece of bell wire from a hardware store will do. Just has to be thin enough to fit through the hole in the body.
