Hi all. I’ve recently finished a 335 style kit and am setting it up. I haven’t been able to get the action as low as I’d like - it’s measuring about 5/64ths under the low E at the 12th fret.
I’ve set the neck relief to give me a small gap at the 9th fret with the string fretted at the 1st and 17th. I’ve sanded down the bottom of the nut to give me about 1/32nd under the low E at the 1st fret. My bridge is screwed all the way down.
Do I have any other options? I’m thinking I could file down the bridge under the post to lower it a bit
