DHB-5 Semi Hollow Bass: STRINGS that fit??

Hello all, I have been trying to work out which strings fit the Semi-Hollow Bass DHB-5 to no avail.
This seems to be an ongoing issue as I have seen a number of threads, but have not been able to see a solution. I have seen a number of images of these bass guitars with strings so there must be a solution. The scale length is 34" on the box, but due to the fact that the strings feed through the body, a significant amount of length is lost. I need the longest available strings for a 5-string Bass (i measured 39" from ball-end to taper).

I ran into this with my YB-4 Build and ended up getting super long scale flat wounds from Strings and Beyond.

These strings are designed for super long scale basses (36”+) and have a taper at 38”"

I need a minimum of 39" at taper
