    Andy40's Madbean Ping Reverb

Needed a small reverb pedal so why not build it on a rainy day. Pretty simple circuit. It's designed for a 1590g enclosure but I'm going to use a slightly bigger enclosure to give myself some extra space.

First up. Component testing time!.......right after I do a couple of jobs the wife gave me. But then it's manly pedal building time!

You are much more organised than I am. I just grab components one at a time from my stash as needed. I usually check resistors with the multimeter since it's faster than trusting myself to read the resistor bands correctly.

When I used to set out components first, I found that a small piece of styrofoam would hold them all in place.

Yeah I picked up that little magnetic whiteboard somewhere. May have been Jaycar. I need it as sometimes I have to go tend to family/work and there's another week gone, if I don't do this I forget where I am. Getting older...lol

Will be interested in hearing what this one sounds like after it's built and working.

LOL. 10K is the only value I needed to order by the 100.

I was chuckling to myself last night as I was putting together parts for the next pedal builds and finding I needed handfulls of 10k

I have heard whispers that the Pedal Designers Guild is receiving generous kickbacks from the 10K Resistor Company.

Except for Dave Barber. I think he is in league with the Purveyors of Uncommon Component Values.
