It's the 5:30am crew again.
Welcome to the world my ugly electrical spider. I shall name you reverbatron.

Reverbatron is a cool name for a reverb pedal, it has a kind-of sci-fi sound to it.
I need to get some parts together to build a rackmount tube-driven spring reverb unit for my studio, it'll be based on a 60's (I think) Fender spring-reverb unit that Uncle Doug from youtube built, remember that one?
I'm very glad to see that the spirit of diy pedal-building is alive and well in the Pitbull Guitars online forum.

Aaand reverbatron was tested out on the 5e3 tonight. Love it. Great pedal.
Thanks juggers. I'll have to look up that uncle Doug episode as I missed it. I've got not one but two spring reverb units to play with

Looks great! I do love a polished metal enclosure.
I have a spring reverb unit as well on the Kustom amp chassis. But I can't see any identifying marks on it yet, which means I don't know what circuit I need to drive it. Perhaps I should trace the Kustom amp board one day.
Mantra: No more pedals, must finish BlueyCaster...

If it's an accutronics tank, then there should be a model number somewhere on it. Have you taken it out of the chassis yet as it may be hidden under the cover? Presumably it's a solid state amp? Valve reverb tanks have very different impedance characteristics to ones designed for solid state amps.
Yes, solid state amp. No, I haven't removed it yet. I am torn between stripping the board for parts and trying to fix it. It has a blown cap on the power supply, is a 30w acoustic amp with reverb and chorus. But have no cabinet or speakers for it, and don't need an acoustic amp anyway. Cost $5.
I will have a look at removing it. One day...

Should be four small bolts with rubber washers at each corner holding it in place. RCA input and output connections.
