Decided to loosen the purse strings and lashed out on SCA Septone clear.
Sprayed a couple of coats and left it for a couple of days.
Despite 'quick drying' printed on the can, once again reality tells a different story.

Put the standard decal on and will layer a few more coats on.

    cheers, Mark.
    Fantastic build mate

Question: Whats the font called that you used for the 'Gee Gee'

    Hi Richy. Thanks.

I used the Adobe Illustrator after watching this tutorial

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_a_-kNCBHkU

I didn't get it quite right but ended up with a result I could live with.

Update: Due to a successful Trem-King experiment on another guitar (and a pile of 'Surf' tunes to learn)
I am investing in a Trem-King TK-3 for this guitar.

Should take a few weeks to show up I guess but been there before.

    cheers, Mark.

Following the tracking of the Trem-King.
Took 9 days to travel from Georgia to Florida, then to New York and around the globe to Hong Kong...then Sydney.
Since report that it departed Sydney it's hit a road block and been missing in action for 5 days.
I guess the Australia Post budget has gone in Cartier watches.

Meanwhile I addressed some OCD by re-doing the control plate.
Made it a bit more like original Mustang but without wonky hole placement.

Hi Oli. I think they are softening us up in preparation for full privatisation.
Then we'll be used to a poor quality expensive service.

    cheers, Mark.
