Custom colour

Hello,

I’ve just finished a guitar with dingotone and found it very nice to use. I’m now planning the next one, thinking of something with quilting then staining it purple.

Is it possible to get a custom dingotone colour mixed up? I’ve seen it a few times around the forums, but each comment was old so I’m wondering if this is still a thing.

Do I need to contact anyone? How/where do I?

Hi Diggy Dude,
I ordered a custom Dingotone in rosewood once. I just contacted adam to get the ball rolling. I expect you could also contact the new fella Ben as an alternative.

It did take a while though as Dingobass had to test the colour etc to make sure it was all good. I was not disappointed either.

A quicker option I suppose would be to order a colourless kit and use some of your own dyes with it.

If I were to mix it, what dyes would I be using?

I've only tried colortone and they seemed to work. Keyda dye powders would work. not sure about others
